Michael Hofmeyr

Michael Hofmeyr is a Specially Appointed Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Humanities at Osaka University. He holds an MA degree in European Humanities from the University of St Andrews and an MSc degree in Modern Japanese Studies from the University of Oxford. He first came to Japan as JET Programme participant and has been working in the field of language education ever since, while also teaching courses in general linguistics and conducting research on topics related to language and language education in Japan. Currently, he is working on completing his doctoral studies at Kyoto University in the field of computer-assisted language learning. List of recent publications:
